| The present invention
relates to a grill for windows that has the basic
function to safeguard property and people living
in a building. The invention can also serve as
a means for people making escape to safety during
time of emergency, such as fires and robbery.
The invention comprises of a hollow physical structure
that is to be installed over the windows of the
building concerned.
There is a grill member that is formed by
a plurality of grill elements having its ends
mounted onto the body of the physical structure.
There are lock members that have the function
to keep the grill member in position in the
space defined by the physical structure when
in a locked position.
When in an unlocked position, the grill elements
will be released from such position and serve
as ladder for people making escape through the
windows.
